30 years ago, my father, Asghar Ali (known as Ali to all his friends and many customers) brought a traditional Corner Shop concept into Horbury Bridge. Our family business flourished and became invaluable to the local community as a true one stop convenience store.

The shop is now run by me Whaeed, Ali's son and a few years ago we were able to add a sub post office to compliment the business. This provides a vital service to the community along with our huge variety of provisions which now include Cards, Stationery, news and magazines, bakery, frozen food, household goods, general provisions, wines/beers and the National Lottery, in fact everything you need from the perfect one stop store and we are open 364 days a year.
